Bihar woman takes matric exam hours after childbirth

When her labour pains began, Rukmani informed her family and the authorities about her decision to take the science exam the next day. She was in labour when she walked into the centre. As the pain became unbearable, she alerted the officials and was taken to hospital. After giving birth to a healthy boy, Rukmini requested the health and education officials to let her sit for the exam, which was hurriedly granted.
